Did you know?
Just like an orchestra which has many different instruments that provide different sounds & textures so too does a classroom of students. The trick to making music is all in the organisation of these sounds (the orchestration).
This wellbeing workshop orchestrates the different sounds in your classroom so that everyone is valued. The experience provides an exploration of students differing traits and how they come together with their peers to create an ‘orchestra’!
Facilitated by Art Therapists, art ‘works’ in many ways to build connection. By connecting with emotions & thoughts that participants may not be conscious of or perhaps they don’t have the vocabulary to express. The workshops use art as a way to move past these barriers & allow individuals & groups to explore and be expressive in a creative and positive way.
The session provide simple visual arts tools and strategies for students, educators and families with an interest in creating healthy, happy confident children. Wellbeing is a muscle that needs to be exercised daily and embedded into our consciousness.
